The semen detection service allows you to determine conclusively if a fabric stain contains semen. You send the stained fabric sample to us, and we will test for the presence of semen. The laboratory will have your results ready within 5 working days of receiving the sample.

We require the $270 testing fee be paid in full at the time samples are submitted.
We cannot perform testing if the fee has not been paid.

Our stain analysis service can give you a variety of answers that semen detection may not be able to offer. With this service, we test the stain to determine if there is DNA available within the stain.

The DNA sample from the stain is then analyzed for the y-chromosome. Only males carry the y-chromosome, so if it is found, it can be concluded that a male is responsible for the stain. We can also determine if there is DNA from more than one person.

If we determine that there is DNA available in the stain, you may wish to proceed with a DNA Comparison Test. We can compare a "known" DNA sample to the "unknown" stain sample. The "known" sample is collected by you using our easy Buccal (Mouth) Swab collection system. A Comparison Testing collection kit will be sent to you with your Stain Analysis test results. At that time you can decide whether or not to proceed with testing.

We require the $420 testing fee be paid at the time the testing is initiated.
The $420 fee is in addition to the Stain Analysis fee.
